How does Spedra work?
Spedra works by helping to relax the blood vessels in your penis, allowing blood to flow into your penis when you get sexually excited. Spedra only helps you to get an erection if you are sexually stimulated. It is intended for use in adult men with erectile dysfunction, which is the inability to achieve or maintain a hard, erect penis suitable for sexual activity.
What is Spedra used for?
Spedra is a treatment for men facing challenges with erectile dysfunction, helping to support an erection in the context of sexual stimulation.
How to take Spedra Tablets
Take one Spedra tablet about 30 minutes before sexual activity, and don’t take more than once a day. Follow your GP or pharmacist’s instructions on dosage, usually starting with a middle dose, adjusting based on effectiveness and tolerance.
Swallow the tablet whole with water and take it with or without food, but heavy meals might slow its effect.
Spedra Dosage
Spedra tablets come in doses of 50 mg, 100 mg, and 200 mg tablets. The usual dose is 100 mg, but your GP or pharmacist might adjust this based on effectiveness and side effects.
For those on certain medications, like moderate CYP3A4 inhibitors, the dose might be adjusted, and a 100 mg tablet might be recommended with at least 2 days between doses. Depending on how you respond, you might be prescribed a lower dose (Spedra 50 mg) or a higher dose (Spedra 200 mg).
